Twas the night before a Thanksgiving feast
I am very thankful for each and everyday I wake up. I am thankful to God for the strength and health he gives me. The love and happiness he places in my heart. I am forever thankful for my family here with me and my family far away and for the family not with me anymore that God allowed me to know. I’m thankful for the bad and the good and the ability to keep going. I am thankful for the food God puts on our table and the food I’m able to share with the ones with an empty table and stomach. I’m thankful for being thankful and when tomorrow comes and goes I will continue to be thankful.
Now to begin my prep in the kitchen for tomorrows Thanksgiving lunch for my family of three. We do a lunch because we are Texan raised and we plan accordingly with the Cowboys game. ;)Our Menu….
Dessert: Pumpkin Pie and Apple Pie
Sides: Green Bean Casserole, Cranberry Sauce, Mac N Cheese, Brown Sugar Glazed Ham, Mash Potatoes, Sweet Potatoes, Dressing, Gravy and Buttered Corn and Carrot
Entree: Roast Herb Stuffing Turkey
